Leon is looking for another great Wii Game

Posted by MosesTheLiar Jul. 19, 2007 @ 2:26 PM EDT

The Wii has been in the headlines for months now since its release, with it catering to people of all ages and gamers of all types. Nintendo is good for being a well known system since the family com was released in 1984. With the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo serves to the causal gamer, the non-gamer and the family gamer, but what about the Hardcore gamer?

Resident Evil 4 was released in 2004, I know. But I never played it only for the sole fact that its scary as hell. Also, I am arachnophobic and the past Resident Evil games have had their serving of those things I don't like to say. Then my roomate purchases RE4 for the Wii. I watch him play it for a while, the new graphics, the more in depth storyline, the better game play. Then I ask him, "Are there any.... you know?" He assures me there aren't. So he's off to bed and I'm playing the hell out of this game. For the first time, I'm playing a game that is engaging and fun since Twilight Princess (released at Wii's Launch in November 06). Then it hit me, why can't their be more Wii games like this? Why is the Wii's library consisted of mere mini game games? Why can't their be a game as deep and developed and interactive as this?

I feel let down by Nintendo. They promised a revolutionary system, I didn't know that revolution was not going to include me, a hardcore gamer. I want my fun.
